Red Team Operations

Full-scope adversary emulation and incident response assessment

Red Team operations go beyond standard penetration testing to measure your organization's Detection & Response capability under a real attack. Through bespoke attack scenarios aligned with the MITRE ATT&CK® matrix, we expose how prepared your SOC team, security technologies and incident response processes truly are.

Audit and Compliance: This service produces technical evidence aligned with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework, TIBER-EU standards and national cyber resilience guidelines for critical infrastructure.

Operation Scope

Resilience testing at every stage of the attack chain

Our operations follow a multi-stage kill chain designed to test both passive defenses and active response teams.

Intelligence and Reconnaissance (OSINT)

Open-source intelligence gathering, digital footprint analysis and attack surface mapping targeted at your organization.

  • •Digital Footprint analysis
  • •Detection of leaked data and passwords
  • •Technology stack mapping

Initial Access and Exploitation

Intrusion into the corporate network via phishing, vishing, physical entry or exploitation of internet-exposed services. The goal: establish "first persistent access" through the weakest link.

  • •Advanced Spear Phishing scenarios
  • •WAF/IPS bypass and custom exploit development
  • •Physical intrusion (optional scope)

Lateral Movement and Privilege Escalation

Moving through the network without detection, reaching critical systems (DC, SWIFT, Core Banking) and obtaining Domain Admin privileges.

  • •Active Directory and Kerberos attacks
  • •Takeover of privileged accounts
  • •Internal C2 traffic tunneling

Data Exfiltration Simulation

Identifying sensitive data and testing controlled exfiltration paths that bypass DLP/IDS systems.

  • •Testing of exfiltration channels
  • •Measuring SOC detection capability
  • •Persistence mechanisms
Why Red Teaming?

Validate paper plans in the real world

Test your strategy, technology and process layers from an attacker's perspective and validate your enterprise resilience with hard numbers.

01

Test Your SOC Team

Measure with real data how long it takes your security operations center to detect the attack (MTTD) and how it responds (MTTR).

02

Validate the Technology

See whether your existing EDR, SIEM and WAF investments actually reduce your enterprise risk.

03

Strengthen the Processes

Validate how effective your incident response playbooks really are in practice.

Methodology

MITRE ATT&CK and TIBER-EU frameworks

An intelligence-led, controlled operation process that mirrors the tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) of real threat actors.

01

Scenario and Engagement Design

TIBER-EU aligned target definition, rules of engagement (RoE) and confidentiality protocols.

02

Threat Intelligence

Profiling the real threat actors targeting your organization and mapping the attack surface via OSINT.

03

Initial Access

Establishing the first foothold via spear phishing, perimeter exploitation or physical vectors.

04

Persistence and C2

Establishing command-and-control channels and persistence while evading EDR and SIEM controls.

05

Lateral Movement

Privilege escalation and silent progression through the network to reach the crown jewels.

06

Actions on Objectives

Controlled data exfiltration and impact simulation against pre-approved objectives.

07

Purple Team and Reporting

Mapping the full attack chain to the MITRE ATT&CK matrix and developing detection rules with your Blue Team.

Delivery

Strategic + technical report

At the end of the operation, our reports analyze your cyber resilience on both strategic and technical levels. During the post-operation phase, we run Purple Team workshops to help your Blue Team build new detection rules.

  • Strategic Risk Summary: A view for executives of the organization's "Detection and Response" maturity against APT attacks.
  • Attack Chain and PoC: Screenshot-driven Proof of Concept for every step plus MITRE ATT&CK mapping of the TTPs used.
  • Defense Gap Analysis: Targeted hardening recommendations for every security technology that was bypassed.
  • Purple Team Workshop: Building new detection rules and defensive layers together with your Blue Team.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is a Red Team operation different from a penetration test?

A penetration test aims to find as many vulnerabilities as possible within a defined scope. A Red Team operation mimics a real threat actor to measure your detection and response capability. It is objective-driven, covert and longer-running.

Will our employees know about the operation?

No. For realistic results, the operation is conducted with the knowledge of a limited white team only. SOC and IT teams are not informed.

Will it damage our systems?

No. Every step is taken within the rules of engagement with production impact minimized. Destructive actions are never executed, only simulated in a controlled way.

Which frameworks do you align the operation with?

Operations are mapped to the MITRE ATT&CK matrix and designed with TIBER-EU aligned scenarios. The report references both frameworks.
